Promotion of Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) Growth by Plant Growth-Promoting Microorganisms

چکیده

Brazil is an important peanut producer, but despite its high production, there still needs to be inoculant for the crop. In addition, use of microorganisms that promote plant growth (PGPM) not common, and this crop highly dependent on chemical fertilizers. An excellent alternative reduce fertilizers inputs in crops while reducing production cost environmental impact PGPM. The objective study was evaluate effects Azospirillum brasilense, Bacillus subtilis, Bradyrhizobium japonicum, Trichoderma harzianum as single inoculants co-inoculants promotion productivity peanuts greenhouse field conditions. greenhouse, experiment conducted with 12 treatments six repetitions. conditions, five four Both experiments were randomized blocks. general, all evaluated present promoted increases root dry mass, shoot phosphorus concentrations, height under conditions compared control. Interestingly, mixtures inoculated plants did greater development inoculations separately. Specifically, field, highest found inoculation B. japonicum alone. PGPM generally some

Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) Omics and Biotechnology in China

Peanut is one of the most important crops in the world, both for vegetative oil and as a protein source. Biotechnology approaches provide promising ways to increase peanut productivity, either through improved seed quality or stress resistance. These approaches require the identification of genes that control important agronomical traits, the understanding of gene regulation and metabolic pathw...

Changes in auxin patterns in developing gynophores of the peanut plant (Arachis hypogaea L.).

The peanut plant (Arachis hypogaea L.) produces flowers aerially, but buries the recently fertilized ovules in the soil in order for the fruit and seeds to mature underground. The organ that carries the seeds into the soil is called the gynophore. The growth of the peanut gynophore is regulated primarily by indole-3-acetic acid (IAA). A monoclonal antibody raised against IAA was used to success...

effect of sulphur and zinc on growth and yield of peanut (arachis hypogaea l.)

peanut are one of the paired plants of oilseed and protein seed oil is a rich source. in order to evaluate effects sulphur and zinc on growth characteristics and yield of peanuts, a experiment was conducted in bandar kiashahr, guilan province, iran in 2008. the experiment laid out in a factorial arrangement with two factors sulphur (0, 40, 80, 120 kg ha) and zinc chelate on (0, 0.5, 1 and 1.5 g...

Effect of Plant Growth Regulators and Drought Stress on Groundnut (arachis Hypogaea L.) Genotypes

Experiments were carried out to investigate the physiological (dry weight of root, stem, peg, flowers plant, fruits sets percent, pod yield (kg plot), 100-kernel weight, days to flowering and maturity) and biochemical (endogenous proline level) traits of groundnut cultivar Swat Phalli-96 under drought stress. The result showed that drought stress significantly (p < 0.05) reduced dry weight of r...

The Proteins of the Peanut, Arachis Hypogaea.

The ravages of the boll weevil have made it unprofitable to grow cotton in various sections throughout the South. In many regions where the growing of cotton has been decreased, peanuts are now being grown as a supplementary crop. This has caused a large increase in the production of peanuts in the United States. A number of mills which in the past produced cottonseed oil are now using their pr...
